Don’t Go Wasting Your Emotion

U2 is coming out with Spider Man Music! There’s going to be more pop music in their next album! Bono’s met James Bond! And what nonsense, there’s no such thing as people who hate U2. Gleeful rapture happens.

Some moments and some memories tend to stick on longer than they ought to. I had a moment that I think will stick on in my head forever, and I really, *really* don’t think it ought to. But it will, and that pleases me and brings a nice suffused glow to my innards.

I wonder what they’re singing on the boys hostel roof. The sound gets too diffused and too broken by the time it reaches my window, and it always leaves me wondering.
